Soul Symbolist

Just recently I reserved the domain name for SoulSymbolist.com, the Twitter username of SoulSymbolist, and the YouTube username SoulSymbolist.

An important distinction I have made recently is that what I have to offer is seeing an individual soul’s core essence or vibration in symbolic form. This is a bit different from someone such as the character in the Dan Brown novels who is well-versed in the study of symbols. These symbologists are students of the history of symbol and have lots of information about what various symbols have meant to people in different times and places and how many of these symbols (such as archetypes) permeate our collective consciousness and unconscious.

In my own work, I look at many of these same historic meanings when I have clients go through the Draw You Out workbook. After taking these symbols into consideration, however, and intuitively forming an impression that is greater than the sum of the parts, something completely new emerges for that individual. Often the image that I create is abstract and is not necessarily identifiable as a certain “thing”. Nevertheless, people tell me they keep unpacking it for weeks, months, even years as they recognize aspects of themselves represented there as they come more fully into fruition.
