Life Maps

As part of my own individuation process, I graphically facilitated the emergence of The Symbolist using a Life Map. I was able to work through a process of identifying my key archetypes, use symbols to express them, and ultimately create an illustration that captured and beautifully articulated my Life Purpose and Path.

This is how I symbolically put the pieces together

While the resulting image was not as simple as a Personal Symbol, it articulated a LOT of detailed and meaningful information in a memorable way. It allowed me to make meaningful connections that I would have missed otherwise. I put this Life Map up on my wall for weeks as I started to “rebirth” my life and my business. It gave me clarity, direction, focus, and meaning. It inspired me and motivated me. Being in the room with my Life Map energized me and empowered me.

After I shared my Life Map with a friend who had been consulting with me on my re-launching project, she said, “Oh, this MUST be something you offer to your clients! I want one!”

Essentially, if the Statue of Liberty was your Personal Symbol, the Life Map would be the road atlas to get you to New York harbor, and show you all the highlights along the way.
